Personal Coaching at FiForm
Strength and movement coaching built around how you actually move.
FiForm is a technique-led, education-first approach to coaching that combines strength training, movement assessment, mobility and control work, and practical nutrition support. The goal isn't simply to train harder - it's to help you understand how your body moves, feel the right muscles working, and build capacity that lasts.
Online Coaching
"I can train anywhere at any time and get the personal coaching I need."
Everything you need to train with purpose and precision:
- Personalised strength and movement program, updated regularly
- Video review of your lifts — technique feedback based on what the coach actually sees
- Mobility and control work integrated into your program, not bolted on
- Practical nutrition guidance aligned to your training and goals
- Direct messaging access for questions, check-ins and adjustments
- Weekly or fortnightly check-ins to track progress and refine the approach
Online coaching is ideal for people who already train independently and want expert eyes on their technique, or those who live outside Ballarat and can't access in-person sessions. It's also well-suited to experienced gym-goers who feel stuck, uncomfortable, or limited by recurring niggles and want a smarter plan rather than just more volume.
In-Person Coaching
"Training with Fiona is amazing. The results I've achieved are far superior to when I trained alone."
In-person sessions are built around movement assessment and real-time technique coaching - the coach watches how you move, identifies what's limiting you, and teaches you to feel the difference. Sessions include strength training, targeted mobility and control work, and detailed execution coaching so you leave each session with a clearer understanding of your body. No two sessions are identical because the program responds to how you move on that day.
Based in Ballarat and ready to train smarter?
Most personal trainers teach you to max out. FiForm teaches you to train smarter.
The FiForm approach centres on joint positioning, execution quality, and helping clients understand why a movement works - not just whether they completed the reps. Clients learn to feel the right muscles working, identify when something's off, and self-correct. This builds the kind of body awareness that compounds over years, not just weeks. The result is training that feels controlled and sustainable - not just intense.
Better execution. Smarter loading. Fewer niggles. More progress.
How It Works
01
Enquiry
You reach out via the contact form. No commitment required — just a conversation about where you're at and what you're working toward.
02
Movement Assessment
The coaching process begins with a movement screen, either in person or via video. This shows exactly where technique, positioning and control can be improved.
03
Your Program
A personalised program is built around your movement patterns, training history, schedule and goals — including strength work, mobility and execution cues.
04
Ongoing Coaching
Regular check-ins, technique reviews and program adjustments keep your training on track and progressing in the right direction.
05
Long-Term Progress
Over time you build not just strength and muscle, but body awareness and confidence that makes every training session more effective.
Have any questions about how we can help you?
Here are the most common ones.
Do I need to be experienced to start coaching?
Not at all. FiForm works with complete beginners through to experienced lifters. If you're new to the gym, the coaching process will teach you how to move safely and effectively from day one. If you've been training for years, the focus shifts to refining what you already do and addressing what's been holding you back.
Can I do online coaching if I've never had a coach before?
Yes. Online coaching includes video review of your lifts, which means the coach can assess your technique remotely and give you specific, actionable feedback. It works well for self-motivated people who want structure, accountability and expert guidance without needing to be in the same gym.
I have a recurring niggle or uncomfortable movement. Can coaching help?
This is one of the most common reasons people start with FiForm. The movement assessment process identifies where technique or positioning is creating stress, and the program is built around addressing that directly — through better execution, mobility work and load management. Coaching is not medical treatment, but better movement quality frequently resolves the kinds of niggles that come from poor patterns under load.
Where are in-person sessions held?
In-person coaching is based in Ballarat, Victoria. Get in touch via the contact form to confirm current availability and session location.
How is the online coaching different from just following a program app?
A program app gives you exercises. Online coaching gives you coaching. The difference is video review of your actual technique, ongoing adjustments based on how you respond, direct access to ask questions, and a program that evolves with your movement - not a generic template.
How long before I see results?
Movement quality and body awareness often improve within the first few sessions. Visible strength and physique changes depend on consistency, but clients typically notice meaningful progress within 8-12 weeks of consistent coached training. The focus on sustainable technique means results compound over time rather than peaking and regressing.
